Exhibition “Sholokhov.The Nobel Triumph”
08.04.2019On April 22, 2019, the excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House” in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya will open an exhibition “Sholokhov.The Nobel Triumph” telling about the world significance of the literary work of the writer and awarding him the Nobel Prize in literature.
The visitors will learn about the history of awarding the most significant literary prize of the world, examine in detail the suit and dresses which the Sholokhovs family were wearing at the awarding ceremony, will see documentary newsreel footage.
Earlier the exhibition was shown in the Memorial House of M.A.Sholokhov. Now, because of restoration of this museum site, there is an opportunity to present the exhibition in a new format.
The exhibition will run in the People’s House during April 22, 2019 – May 10, 2020, then it will take its permanent place in the Memorial House at the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov.
We welcome residents and guests of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya “to attend” the Nobel ceremonies and feel pride for the great writer and a patriot, a glorifier of the Don country Mikhail Alexandrovich Sholokhov.
