VII International Children and Youth Scientific Conference
10.04.2019The VII International Children and Youth Scientific Conference “Sholokhov Geography: from the Origins to the Nobel Triumph” will take place in the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov on April 24, 2019. The theme of the conference is “Sholokhov Source”: 20 Years of Environmental and Literary Education”.
The conference will be participated by the young environmentalists from Sholokhov gymnasium, schools of the Rostov Region, Rostov-on-Don, Orenburg, Volzhsky, Nikolayevsk, republics of North Ossetia-Alania, Kabardino-Balkaria, Kazakhstan, Abkhazia, and the Lugansk People’s Republic.
The school students will present their research and creative projects on the subjects:
- Environmental and literary education and the role of environmental and educational institutions in it;
- Visible embodiment of words and deeds: environmental and literary holidays, exhibitions, methodical developments and workshops;
- “Sholokhov Source” is 20 (impressions and memories about participation in the movement rallies);
- Literary ecology: relationship of man and nature in the works of the writers of Russia and near foreign countries;
- Literary forests, parks, squares (described in the works of fiction or created by man).
The students’ talks will be assessed by the jury which will include the workers of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov, representatives of the Sholokhov District Administration, Nongovernmental V.I.Vernadsky Environmental Foundation and the Rostov Region Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The conference members will be awarded diplomas and thanksgiving letters.
