On Tours about the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov

The Memorial House at the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov, in connection with the repair and restoration work, is closed for visits from April 1, 2019, to the end of the works. During this period, many of the exhibits – personal belongings of the writer, the furniture and interior items of the studies and the dining-room, books from Sholokhov’s library, numerous presents and souvenirs, and other memorial items will be shown at the exhibitions in the excursion and exhibition centre People’s House.

At the Estate, the exhibitions “Outbuilding. Summer House of the Sholokhovs” and “Garage” have their usual run, and the museum classes and tours around the territory are held for schoolchildren according to the usual scheme.

Tickets can be purchased at the stall by the entrance to the Estate on the side of Roza Luxemburg Lane, as well as in all the cash-desks of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.

From May 1, the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov, like all other Museum sites, will turn to the summer mode of work with the exhibitions running without days off, daily from 9.00 to 17.00.
