Literary Contest “Our Sholokhov”

The final of the literary contest “Our Sholokhov” will take place on April 10, 2019, in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. It is dedicated to the birthday of the writer. It will be participated by young reciters and actors, artists and masters of handicraft from five districts of the Rostov Region – Bokovsky, Verkhnedonskoy, Kasharsky, Oblivsky and Sholokhov, and the Serafimovich District of the Volgograd Region.

Annually the contest is joined by nearly half a thousand young admirers of the work of M.A.Sholokhov. It is held in four nominations – declamation and performance of fragments of Sholokhov’s works, fine arts, arts and crafts.

The contest is held in three stages: a school contest and a district one are held locally, and for the final contest the winners of the district stages in each of the nominations come to the homeland of M.A.Sholokhov.

The winners of the contest will be awarded diplomas and certificates of honour.
