Scientific and Practical Conference in Rostov-on-Don

The All-Russian (with international participation) scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 100th birthday anniversary of the outstanding historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, Alexander Pavlovich Pronshtein, took place during March 22–23, 2019, in Rostov-on-Don, in the Institute of History and International Relations of the Southern Federal University.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the South Federal University, the State Archives of the Rostov Region, the Don State Public Library and the Foundation named after priest Iliya Popov. The conference was joined by the representatives of different regions of the country and the Ukraine.

The conference was presented a talk “I Think There Was no Melekhov, but There Was Yermakov…” prepared by Yekaterina Karbysheva, senior researcher of the department “Estate of M.A.Sholokhov” of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve.

A collection of articles based on the conference materials will be published.
