Sholokhov Museum-Reserve at the Exhibition MITT-2019

18.03.2019

The 26th International Tourist Exhibition “Travels and Tourism” (MITT) joined by the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov completed its run on March 14, 2019, in Moscow.

The exhibition was a great success: on the first day it was visited by 12191 professionals. The exhibition members from over 54 foreign countries presented new destinations, itineraries and tourist products for the coming season 2019.

On the final day the exhibition was visited by Olga Golodets, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Government, and Zarina Doguzova, Head of the Federal Tourism Agency. The honoured guests looked round the exhibition MITT-2019 paying special attention to the Russian pavillion.

The honoured guests centred their attention at the section of the Rostov Region. They talked with the representatives of the tourist companies of the region and looked into the presentation materials about the Don country. Olga Golodets noted that at present, the Russian Government pays great attention to the development of the tourist industry and works out measures for support and promotion of the tourist opportunities of Russia.

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve presented at the collective stand of the Rostov Region a set of proposals for tourists: eventful activities, weekend tours, environmental and ethnographical programs, individual and group tours.

Our exhibition section was visited by the representatives of tourist agencies, tour operators and private individuals – travel lovers – attracted by colourful booklets and slide-shows telling about the Museum sites and the Don nature.
