“From a Blade of Grass to the Sun…”

The children from kindergarten No 2 of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya took part in the interactive class “From a Blade of Grass to the Sun…” held on February 19, 2019, before the Memory Day of the writer by the workers of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.

The class was entitled with the words of the answer of Svetlana Mikhailovna Sholokhova, the elder daughter of the writer, to the correspondent for the “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” (Russian Newspaper) to the question, what Sholokhov loved most of all on his land: “Everything. From a blade of grass to the sun”.

The class was joined by 58 preschool children. They learned about the big and friendly family of M.A.Sholokhov, about the love of the writer for the nature, about his favourite sites of rest, sights of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya and the contribution of the writer in its development, about the famous guests who visited Sholokhov country.

With enthusiasm the children guessed the riddles about nature, remembered what animals and birds live in our forests, identified the leaves of trees and did puzzles. At the end of the class the children made their conclusion that the nature must be taken care of and protected.
