08.02.2019

On February 21, 2019, a meeting “In the Time of Turmoil…” dedicated to the memory of M.A.Sholokhov will be held in Vyoshenskaya, in the Palace of Culture. It will begin at 15.00.

A literary musical composition will tell about the events of a century ago – the Upper Don Cossack rebellion of 1919 – one of the most tragic pages in the history of the Don Cossacks. M.A.Sholokhov was the first to tell the wide public about it in his novel “And Quiet Flows the Don”.
