Welcome to the Conference “Museum-Reserve: Environment and Culture”
04.02.2019During October 8–10, 2019, the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve jointly with the Rostov Region Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment holds the VII International scientific and practical conference “Museum-Reserve: Environment and Culture”. The conference will take place in the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya.
We invite specialists of the museum-reserves, national parks, scientific institutions and organizations associated with the study and comprehensive protection of the cultural and natural heritage to take part in the conference.
Main Trends and Issues of the Conference:
- Museumfication and problems of conservation of the objects of historical and cultural heritage: unique natural complexes and landscapes, monuments, ensembles, places of interest;
- Environmental education in the national parks, educational institutions and museums-reserves (including ecotourism);
- Environment monitoring, rational land use and protection of flora and fauna on the territory of national parks, museums-reserves and other cherished natural areas;
- Landscape art, forest and park management (including certification of memorial and unique trees);
- Literary ecology: man and nature as depicted in the works of the writers of Russia and near foreign countries (including descriptions of literary squares, parks and forests).
At the conference, on October 10, 2019, a round table “Ecological Tourism: Formation, Problems and Development Prospects” will be held.
