NewsAction “Museum for All!” Aroused Great Interest03.12.2018On November 30, 2018, an action “Museum for All! Inclusion Day” of the ICOM project “Inclusive Museum” took place in the excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House”. The guests of the Museum gladly took part in the artistic project “Cossack Hamlet”. They were inspired with a video film “There Walked a Good Cossack” showing a special feeling of Cossacks to horses and beauty of the Don country. For a moment the children became artists drawing a herd of horses on the common canvas. With great interest the children and their parents painted billets in the form of galloping horses, Don houses (kurens) and sunflowers which were placed then on one canvas to fill it with liveliness and beauty. The common act united the children and promoted their interest in pictorial activity. The works on painting canvas being over the guests were taken to the pleasure horse riding in carriages that was a great delight for the children and adults. Such actions aimed at interaction with the guests and establishing permanent friendly contacts increase their interest in cultural life and give positive emotions to all the participants.
