Action “Night of Arts” will Take Place in Sholokhov Museum

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov will take part in the All-Russian action “Night of Arts” organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the portal of cultural heritage and traditions of Russia “Культура.РФ”. The action is held under the motto “Art Unites”.

In the Museum-Reserve the action will be held in several areas in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya and in Sholokhov-Centre of Rostov-on-Don.

In Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya, in the excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House”, there will be held a literary musical social “Art Unites” dedicated to the National Unity Day, Cossack dance master-classes, show of the film “When Cossacks Cry”. Poetry, music, choreography, cinema will unite at this night the actors and the viewers who love the art.

The visitors of the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov and the literary exhibition “M.A.Sholokhov. Time and Life” will be given thematic tours “Exhibit in Focus” where they will learn about the history of museum objects associated with music.

In Rostov-on-Don, Sholokhov-Centre, the unique exhibition “Russian Cavalry in the Era of the Napoleonic Wars” from the collection of the State Borodino Museum-Reserve will continue running during the action “Night of Arts”. Free tours will be held every half an hour.
