He was a person endlessly attentive to people, amazingly ordinary and open-minded, always ready to help. Mikhail Mikhailovich Sholokhov was born on May 23, 1935, in Moscow. He graduated with honors from the biological faculty of the Moscow State University, worked in the Committee for Nature Conservation at the USSR Academy of Sciences. In 1972, he graduated from the postgraduate school of history and philosophy faculty of the State University of Rostov and became Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, a docent. He lectured philosophy in the Rostov State University, was a head of the branch of law education by correspondence of the Academy of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 1992, he retired in the rank of colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. For several years Mikhail Mikhailovich had worked as consultant of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov, helped the museum workers a lot. He wrote an interesting memory book “About My Father. Memories, Reflections of Different Years”. The book reveals important aspects of the writer’s personality and outlook, reproduces the dialogues of father and son, where both topical social, historical issues and eternal, timeless themes: truth, love, faith, duty, responsibility were discussed. M.M.Sholokhov will remain in our memory a person with a big kind heart and a bright soul.
