“Extreme” Fair in Stanitsa Karghinskaya

Fairs were always exciting and long-awaited events. The literary ethnographic holiday “Karghin Fair on Intercession Days” which will be held on October 7, 2018, in Stanitsa Karghinskaya, at the mill complex of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov is also long-awaited. A new interesting and a little extreme program is prepared for the guests of the holiday.

For the second time the guests and residents of Karghinskaya will meet Dmitry Nagorny, the triple bronze medalist of the World Extreme Power Championship. The bogatyr from Donetsk of the Rostov Region is considered to be one of the strongest people of the planet. Without much difficulty he can tear iron buckets with his bare hands, flex iron frying pans and fixtures.

During his performance at Karghin Fair in 2015, he easily lifted and carried a 300kg sack of grain, then he carried a pipe with an attached swing with 4 Cossack women seated. The feature of the holiday program will be dragging a KamAZ to more than 20 metres!

We shall see the surprises prepared for us by the Don bogatyr this time at the holiday “Karghin Fair on Intercession Days” on October 7.

The lovers of equestrian extreme will also show their mastery. The workers and pupils of the Museum Stables will perform their new equestrian “Horse Show “Don Cossacks”.

Nine brave horsemen will show Cossack traditional battle techniques, complex acrobatic elements and new tricks.
