Kolundayev Village School is the Winner of the XIX Rally of “Sholokhov Source”

For the nineteenth time Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya hosted the members of the children and youth environmental movement “Sholokhov Source”. The rally took place during April 23–26, 2018, in the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov. It was joined by 18 teams from the Rostov, Volgograd, Orenburg regions, the republics of Kalmykia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia, Kazakhstan and the Lugansk People’s Republic.
At the rally opening ceremony the members of the movement were greeted by the representatives of the Rostov Region Ministry of Natural Resources N.N.Gribova and A.V.Abakumov, of the Sholokhov District Administration I.I.Kozelnikov and of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve T.Y.Turchin.
The rally program was very rich and informative. The young ecologists answered the questions of the ”Eco-Erudite” contest, took part in the sport competitions, travelled by the tour itineraries “Lebyazhy Yar”, “Living Spring”, “Healing Powers of Nature”. The children saw picturesque landscapes of the Don country, which Mikhail Alexandrovich loved with all his heart and depicted in his works. In the holiday concert “They Said with a Pen and a Word” each team showed a bright stage item connecting it with the work of the great writers and poets of their home country.
The XIX rally was joined by new teams from Volzhsk, Elista, the Lugansk People’s Republic and the teams taking part in the movement many years including the children from Nikolayevsk, Kabardino-Balkaria, Kazakhstan, Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya and the old friends of the movement – the children from Kolundayev Village the Sholokhov District, who repeatedly won the Cups in different nominations and were marked with prizes.
The winners were marked and awarded personal Cups and presents. The program of the XIX rally was over. Within the few days the children made new friends and promised each other to meet again in the hospitable Sholokhov country.
