The VI International Children and Youth Research Conference “Sholokhov Geography: from the Source to the Nobel Triumph”
26.04.2018The VI International Children and Youth Research Conference “Sholokhov Geography: from the Source to the Nobel Triumph” took place in the People’s House of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov on April 25, 2018. The subject of the conference was “Literary Landscapes is a Cultural Heritage of the Nation”.
The conference was joined by young ecologists from the Rostov, Volgograd, Lipetsk and Orenburg regions, Kalmykia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia, Kazakhstan, and the Lugansk People’s Republic.
The conference members were welcomed by T.Y.Turchin, Deputy Head of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov for Environment and Rational Land Use, and T.V.Avgusmanova, Leader of the Educational Programs and Projects of the V.I.Vernadsky Foundation.
The young researchers presented their talks devoted to preservation of their local unique natural attractions and to the writers who masterfully depicted the landscapes, and showed their interesting photo and video presentations. Many of the speakers were wearing beautiful national costumes.
The winners and laureates of the conference were awarded diplomas of the first, second and third degrees, letters of thanks and presents.
