VI International Children and Youth Conference

On April 25, 2018, the VI International Children and Youth Research Conference “Sholokhov Geography: from the Source to the Nobel Triumph” will take place in the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov. The topic of the conference: ”Literary Landscapes are a Cultural Heritage of the Nation”.

The geography of the participants expands every year. This year it will be joined by schoolchildren from the Rostov, Volgograd, Lipetsk and Orenburg regions, the republics of Kalmykia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and the Lugansk People’s Republic. The students will show their research and creative projects on the subjects:

- Literary landscapes of Russia, European and Asian countries;

- Preservation of scientific, cultural and natural heritage of Russia for sustainable development;

- Fusion of nature and culture in the literary landscape.

The performances of the students will be assessed by the jury consisting of the workers of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov, representatives of the Non-Government V.I.Vernadsky Environmental Foundation and the Rostov Region Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

Finally, the members of the conference will be awarded diplomas and letters of thanks.
