Spring Holidays in the Museum: Interactive and Informative

On the days of spring school holidays the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov was visited by schoolchildren of Vyoshenskaya, the 6–8-form students from one of the Rostov-on-Don schools and the children from the Social Rehabilitation Centre for Underage Children of the Kashary District.

School holidays is the time for rest and leisure. And spring holidays is the most anticipated time for many schoolchildren, as it gets warmer and they prefer to spend more time outdoors. But for a successful study in the new school term the resting days should be planned ahead and spent usefully. The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov offered interesting and informative programs for schoolchildren of different ages.

During the three days the students of Rostov-on-Don went sightseeing, visited memorial and natural sites of the Museum-Reserve. The children were brightly impressed visiting the Museum-Reserve Stables, where they learned about the traditions of the Don horse breeding, were shown fancy-riding and flanking techniques. During the workshop classes “A Daedal Decoupage of a Cutting Board”, “Wooden Spoon Painting”, “How Cossack Pot is Born”, the children made Don souvenirs by their own hands.

Visiting the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov the boys and girls were indelibly impressed and wished to come here again.
