Exhibition Project “And Again I am Travelling…”

A historical literary intermuseum exhibition project “And Again I am Travelling…” devoted to the life and work of the famous Russian poet Sergey Yesenin was opened on March 27, 2018, in Sholokhov-Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov. It shows the exhibits from the collections of five Russian museums keeping memory of the great Russian poet.

The exhibition opening ceremony was joined by Boris Igorevich Ioganson, Director of the State S.A.Yesenin Museum-Reserve, Svetlana Nikolayevna Shetrakova, Director of the Moscow State S.A.Yesenin Museum, partners of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve, and schoolchildren – participants of the project “Cultural Heritage”.

Olga Alexandrovna Anistratenko, Director of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve, welcomed the guests and thanked the colleagues, participants of the project, for the work on preparation of the exhibition and wished the project to be successful and interesting for the visitors.

A pleasant surprise for the guests was a musical present: a song “Moskva” on the poetry of Sergey Yesenin “Yes! Now it is Settled. No Turning Back…” performed by the workers of Sholokhov-Centre, the actors of the theatre “Klassika” and the song and dance ensemble “Legenda”.

The exhibition will run until May 27, 2018, from 10.00 to 17.00 (Wednesday and Friday: 10.00–19.00). Monday is day off.
