Congratulations to Journalists on the Day of Russian Press

12.01.2018

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve sends its congratulations to all media professionals on the Day of the Russian Press and expresses its appreciation of the great opportunity for the wide public in Russia and abroad to receive timely information about the Museum of the great writer, new exhibitions, folklore and literary ethnographical holidays and other bright events thanks to the routine work of the journalists.

The Museum has been cooperating with a number of editorial boards and journalists for long years, and we are glad that a circle of our friends and like-minded people grow and increase, and we always welcome to Sholokhov country all those who know, love and appreciate the Word and seek to contribute into preservation of Russia's cultural heritage.

In his time, Mikhail Alexandrovich Sholokhov cooperated with the district newspaper of Vyoshenskaya, his works were first published on the pages of journals, regional and central newspapers. During the years of the Great Patriotic War the writer was a front correspondent, the author of the materials for the newspapers “Pravda” and “Krasnaya Zvezda”, for the Sovinformbureau, which were actively feedbacked from the readers. Sholokhov didn’t like to be photographed, didn’t aspire to be in the spotlight. He sometimes complained about excessive attention, in his opinion, of the press, but he respected journalist labour and had good relations with many correspondents. The Museum stores keep the most interesting photographs and interviews of the writer published in the Russian and foreign newspapers and journals, and records of TV programs and radio reports.

Today our archives are added with your works. Last year we with interest watched the publications about the Museum from the information agencies “Novosti”, “Interfax”, “ITAR-TASS”, “Mangazeya”, TV channels “Kultura”, VGTRK “Don-TR”, “Don24”, “Donskaya Stolitsa”, “The First Volgograd Channel”, Ren-TV, Millerovo TV, journals “Musey”, “Donskoy”,”Natsionalniye Prioritety”, “Zhivopisnaya Rossiya”, the newspapers “Nashe Vremya”, “Molot”, Vecherniy Rostov”, “Nedelya Dona”, “Tikhiy Don”, “Stanichniye Vedomosti”, “Shakhtinskiye Izvestiya”, “Nash Krai”, “Pravda”, “Novocherkasskiye Vedomosti”, “Ust-Medveditskaya Gazeta”, “Kommersant”, “Krestyanin”, “Trud”, “Perekryostok”, “Zemlya”, ”Pobeda”, “Khimik”, “Neftyanik”, “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, “Rossiyskiye Lesniye Vesti”, scientific and culturological electronic

journal “Relga”, Internet portals Kultura.RF, “Muzei Rossii”, Donland.ru, “RATAnews”, “Zhivoy Rostov”, “Avtorodina”, “Afisha.ru” and many other mass media.

For the bright and talented essays, articles and reports we are especially grateful to Lyubov Surkova, Leonid Kovalevsky, Vitaliy Dedogryuk, Veronika Bogma, Mariya Kim, Vera Voloshinova, Marina Kaminskaya, Alexander Akopov, Anatoly Maksimchuk, Galina Belousova, Stanislav Fomenko, Olga Karelina, Tatyana Bocharova, Yelena Gritsenko.
