Welcome to the Stables of Sholokhov Museum

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov has a secret of attraction and great opportunities. The visitors of Sholokhov Museum are lovers of literature, nature and history, and ethnographers. Here everyone can find a subject of his interest.

The guests learn about the history and traditions of the Don Cossacks, their life, where a horse was its integral part, and perceive the lines of the immortal novel “And Quiet Flows the Don” by M.A.Sholokhov in a new way.

The Stables are frequently visited by the tourists from Rostov, Volgograd, Voronezh and other regions. There are some of the guests’ reviews.

And, of course, the favourite Museum visitors are children. The Stables are visited by the students from different cities, towns and localities of the Rostov Region and different parts of Russia. The Museum workers give excursions and classes for children of low-income families and children with disabilities, and do their best to make their visits interesting and unforgettable.
