The Souvenirs of Sholokhov Museum-Reserve are Recognized as the Best
15.11.2017According to the results of the All-Russian contest “Tourist Souvenir”, which finale took place in Kirov during November 10–11, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov won two top awards – Grand-Prix.
The souvenirs submitted for the contest by the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov competed for the victory among other 294 souvenirs from 38 regions of Russia. A collection of dolls “We are Don Cossacks” in the price category above 500 rubles was declared in the nomination “Souvenir-Toy”. 13 kinds of dolls, Cossack men and women of different size, charmed the jury with the conformity to national Cossack costume, variety of the presented military ranks, clear attachment to the region and, of course, with their beauty.
In the nomination “Tourist Route Souvenir” in the price category fewer than 300 rubles, the souvenir “Tourist Mark” was recognized as the best souvenir representing a new type of collectibles functioning in 15 countries of the world. One can buy these numbered wooden medals with burnt out pictures of tourist objects only when visiting the place shown on them. The tourists visiting the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov have an opportunity to collect 8 marks at once and thus to replenish their collection significantly.
We are happy that the Museum, which participated for the first time in such a contest, received two top awards at once. This, undoubtedly, speaks of the high competitiveness of the souvenirs on sale in the Museum Souvenir Shop located in: 60, Sholokhov Str., Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya (near the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov).
