Sholokhov is a Singer of the Don Nature
21.08.2017From September 1, 2017, the excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House” begins museum classes dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia for primary students at the exhibition “I Can’t Live without Nature…” from the collection of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
The children will learn about the work of M.A.Sholokhov on the environment protection, about the history of planting pine-trees in the Sholokhov District, about the plants and animals of the Rostov Region Red List of Threatened Species, and about the kinds of fish found in the River Don now. Besides, they will learn to make a small spider of waste materials. At the end of the class each member will receive a booklet “Rules of Behaviour in the Nature”.
