NewsBridge of Arts Reached Sholokhov-Centre28.08.2017During August 23–27, 2017, the days of the III International Festival of Motivational Cinema “Bridge of Arts” held in Rostov-on-Don, Sholokhov-Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov became one of the areas for receiving guests and members of the Festival. The organizers chose the multimedia museum hall for holding master-classes by the famous Russian and foreign figures of cinema industry. Nick Holdsworth, a British journalist for “The Hollywood Reporter”, opened the session in Sholokhov-Centre with his master-class “Film Journalism. Two Sides of the Same Coin: How to Make Writing about Films Interesting and What Projects Attract Journalists”. Yelena Tsventukh, Dean of the film producer faculty of the S.-Petersburg University of Cinema and TV, shared her experience with the listeners on the point: “Modern TV Formats in Russia. What is to be Shot and to be Shown”. A storm of emotions and questions from the audience was aroused by the master-class ”A Code of Hayes and Moral and Ethical Norms in the Cinema” of David Shneiderov, a film critic, director and teacher. A string of star guests was completed by screenwriter Sergey Vostrikov with his master-class “How to Write Successful TV Series?” All the master-classes in Sholokhov-Centre aroused emotions, hot discussions, and a lot of questions to the speakers. The guests visited the exhibition halls of Sholokhov-Centre and saw the exhibition “Travelling around the World” from the collection of the Museum of the World Ocean (Kaliningrad).
