The XVIII Rally of “Sholokhov Source”

The Second Round of the XVIII Rally of the children and youth environmental movement “Sholokhov Source” will take place from 8 to 10 of August. It will gather teams from the Rostov, Volgograd and Voronezh regions, the Kabardino-Balkaria, Kazakhstan and Lugansk People’s republics. The Rally is dedicated to the Year of Ecology, it is headed “The Environment around Us”. The members of the movement will visit the unique natural monuments of the Sholokhov country, the Museum exhibitions, they will take part in the literary, environmental, sports competitions and in a new competition “The Pearl of Eurasia Land Art” to show their landscape designs.

In the holiday concert “The Forest and Feather-Grass Attract Us…” which will be held on the bank of the River Don in Lebyazhy Village, the teams will demonstrate their people’s traditions and customs showing their artistic skills.

The results of the competitions will be summed up to determine the winning team and the prize winners in the nominations “Environmental Expedition”, “Literary Local History”, “Sport and Tourism”, “Theatrics”.
