The Work of Sholokhov will be Talked about in the Tokyo University

On July 15, 2017, a seminar of the literary group of Slavists called “Beseda” (talk) will take place in the Tokyo University (Japan). The talk “M.A.Sholokhov and Russian Literary Tradition: Predecessors (A.N.Radishchev) and Followers (Zakhar Prilepin)” will be given by S.A.Vasilyev, professor, senior researcher of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.

“Beseda” brings together specialists in Russian literature and culture who regularly hold seminars to foster information and research results among Japanese and international scholars interested in this field of study. The project is supported by the Japan society for the Promotion of Science.

Earlier, on 11 July, S.A.Vasilyev made his talk on the work of M.A.Sholokhov for the Soka University students taking a course of Russian literature and the university guests.
