The Creator of the Project “Avtorodina” Visiting Sholokhov Country

21.06.2017

On June 20, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov was visited by Alexey Slashchov, Member of the Russian Geographical Society, Jury Member of the “TOP-5 AVTO” annual national award of the automobile business experts, creator and leader of a number of the Radio and TV projects.

He made his visit to Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya within the frames of the project “Avtorodina”. This is the first in Russia systematic guidebook which offers to any traveller a clear, comfortable and interesting route for any region including description of sights, history, local studies, wildlife and the infrastructure.

Alexey Vladimirovich is firmly convinced that Russia will become a country accessible for auto- and motor tourism, and by 2020, the use of alternative fuel cars will have been possible. He takes an active part in promotion of electric transport and the infrastructure for it.

Within the frames of “Avtorodina”, it is planned to create its own representative offices to offer SUV tours about local “points of strength”– religious centres, sights, historical places and reserves. The tour is provided with a professional instructor and a guide. The tourist drives the car himself, he is by no means a passive observer and during the tour he improves his physical and intellectual skills.

According to Alexey Vladimirovich, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov will become that very “point of strength” which will attract lots of tourists and will boost the further development of the region.
