Japanese Students Study in the Work of Mikhail Sholokhov

On June 8, 2017, a class devoted to the story “The Fate of a Man” by M.A.Sholokhov took place in the Soka University (Japan, Tokyo). It was held by Mitsuro Egouti, professor of the University, within the frames of the subject “Intercultural Communication”.

The students watched and discussed the title film by film director S.F.Bondarchuk (1959) shown with Japanese subtitles.

The class was joined by S.A.Vasilyev, professor, senior researcher of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov, who was invited to the University to give a course of lectures on Russian Literature.
