The Contest “I Can’t Live without Nature…” is Over

07.06.2017

The jury of the contest “I Can’t Live without Nature…” dedicated to the birthday of M.A.Sholokhov and the Year of Ecology in Russia summed up the results. The contest was participated by young admirers of the work of the great writer from Rostov, the Rostov Region, the republics of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The winner was Sofiya An (the Kazakhstan Republic, Daryinskoye Village), who took the first place in the contest.

The second place was shared by Yevgeniya Krylova and Nariman Kayubov (the Kazakhstan Republic, Daryinskoye Village).

The third place was taken by Inga K.Israfilova (the Republic of Uzbekistan).

There were marked other 7 good works.

The winners will be awarded certificates of honour and presents. The best of the winners will be awarded letters of thanks of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.

The contest jury marked a broad outlook of the contestants, their knowledge of the writer’s works, ingenuity and non-standard thinking in doing the assignments. However, unfortunately, not all the contestants were attentive in reading the assignments; many of them were not accurate in wording the answers, did not check the information from the Internet, were not correct in using the names of natural objects and inhabited localities. We hope the young Sholokhov scholars will be successful taking part in the next contests.

We thank all the contestants for their interest for the work of M.A.Sholokhov and wish them further exciting searches and finds on the way of studying the work of this great master of word.

The contest dedicated to the birthday of M.A.Sholokhov, which could be joined online was held for the third time. The topics of the previous contests were “The 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War” (2015) and “The Year of Russian Cinema” (2016).

The keys to the contest assignments can be found on the link.
