Vyoshenskaya is Getting Ready to Receive Guests of “Sholokhov Spring”
26.05.2017“Children Sholokhov Spring” in Stanitsa Karghinskaya to open the holiday is in full swing, and in Vyoshenskaya the last preparations for the folk festival are getting to completion.
The stage areas have been ready to receive the performers, and the last rehearsals take place on the floating stage on the river Don. In the park, the Fair of Masters – an exhibition sale of arts and crafts products is laid out for everyone’s service. The “Souvenir Shop” of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov has prepared a lot of souvenirs to any liking. In the central square a construction of makeshift Cossack houses (kurens) to entertain the guests with songs and the Don Cossack dishes is coming to an end.
The centre of Vyoshenskaya is overcrowded; the souvenir sellers who set up their selling booths from the early morning are going to stay up through the whole night.
