International Festival of Museums “Intermuseum”

On May 25, the XIX International Festival of Museums “Intermuseum-2017” will start in Manezh, in Moscow. The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov will take part in it.

From 25 to 29 of May, the unique cultural area will gather over 300 museums of Russia and foreign countries. The key theme of this festival will be “Museum of the Future” – new optics and ability to move to a qualitatively different level and the future of the visitor and the museum sphere on the whole. The main objective is to attract attention of the society to museums and museum activity in Russia and abroad. The festival program includes an exhibition part, a business part, a cultural part and a contest for the museums-participants.

The founder and organizer of the festival is the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
