The V International Conference of Young Ecologists

On April 26–27, the V International Children and Youth Scientific Conference dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia took place in Stanitsa Karghinskaya, the Bokovsky District.

The school students presented and discussed the results of their investigations, and the jury marked the best works.

The young researchers made their talks in the nominations: “Experience in Forestry Studies”, “Environmental Initiatives of M.A.Sholokhov and other Russian and Foreign Writers (Poets)”, “Experience in the Student Environmental Studies”, “Preservation of Biodiversity of the Native Land”, “Preservation of Cultural and Natural Heritage of Russia for Stable Development”, “Environmental Tourism”, “Experience in the Student Biological Studies”. It should be noted that some children for the first time got an opportunity to make their talks at the conference of such kind. The children supplemented their talks with interesting photo- and video-presentations.

According to the conference results the best works were awarded. The winners were from the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, the Lugansk People’s Republic, the Volgograd Region, Kaluga, the Rostov Region and Voronezh.

The winners were awarded diplomas of the I, II, and III degrees, and letters of thanks.

The young Sholokhov scholars and ecologists visited the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov, the historical literary exhibition “M.A.Sholokhov. Time and Destiny” in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya and visited the Karghin Memorial and Historical Complex.
