Sholokhov Museum at the Exhibition “Tourist.Hunter.Fisher” in Volgograd

For the first time the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov takes part in the 10th All-Russian specialized exhibition “Tourist.Hunter.Fisher”, which was held from 13 to 16 of April, 2017, in Volgograd.

The exhibition centre “VolgogradExpo”, the organizer of the event, and a general partner Trading House “Silver Brook” (Association of Fishing Exhibitions of CIS Countries) created a unified area for specialists in tourist industry, hunting, fishing, State and commercial organizations. The integrated project was purposed for contributing into development of tourist activity and the work on natural protection and preservation of environmental balance.

The exhibition attracted a big number of outdoor enthusiasts, tourindustry professionals and specialists of environmental associations.

The sector of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov was visited by the official delegation. The Museum workers told the visitors about the nature of the Don region and about fishing in the River Don, about the Cossack traditions and museum exhibitions, new interactive excursion and tourist programs, master-classes and event activities.

The visitors were offered new tourist itineraries, ethnographic and health-improving tours, environmental excursions, weekend tours tailored to individual preferences, interests, training level and other features of various categories of excursionists. The Museum-Reserve was awarded a diploma for active participation in the exhibition.
