“Spring is Coming – Spring is Welcome!”
20.03.2017A meeting in the literary and musical salon themed after the well-known song “Spring is Coming – Spring is Welcome!” took place on March 18, 2017, in Sholokhov-Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
The guests of the meeting learned about the traditions of meeting spring and the Day of Spring Equinox in different countries of the world and in the Don land.
Olga Korneyeva, a poet and composer, a Member of the Russian Union of Writers, a Candidate of Sociological Sciences, a docent of the Rostov State University of Economics, recited her poetry boosting spring spirits. The audience enjoyed the art of the young performers of the exemplary choreographic ensemble “Rosinka” of the Rostov-on-Don Children’s Art Centre (director Olga Verbenko).
The guests visited the exhibition “Here the Genius Lived…” Literary Places of Russia. For the 100th Anniversary of Boris Shcherbakov”.
