NewsMuseum “Cinema-Talk-Show”21.12.2016An unusual museum “cinema-talk-show” takes place in the excursion and exhibition centre People’s House” for young residents of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya – a meeting with the film by E.Morgunov “When Cossacks Cry”, which was made after one of the early short stories “About Kolchak, Nettle and Others” by Mikhail Sholokhov. The comedy film loved by the viewers was shown in the 1960s. It became rare because it was short: the film lasts 26 minutes. The museum workers decided to show the young visitors this short but bright comedy about misadventures of Cossacks, whose wives mutinied and went to live in the lordly stables. We welcome all the visitors to see the wonderful comedy, which scenario was written under the patronage of Mikhail Sholokhov. The film was made by Sverdlov Film Studio in 1962, and in 1963, it was shown in the USSR. The show is followed by a discussion of the story happened to Cossacks. Also, it is said about the current relations of Cossack men and women and about the possibility of a “women’s mutiny” at present. This lively museum “cinema- talk-show is hosted by Fedot Panteleyevich, one of the film characters, whose role is performed by Vladimir Antipov, an actor of the museum theatrical studio.
