Fencing “The Farmstead of T.A.Karghin” Territory

In November 2016, the fencing of the territory “Farmstead of T.A.Karghin”, a cultural heritage site located in Stanitsa Karghinskaya the Bokovsky District Rostov Region, was reconstructed.

Based on the research and investigations (memories of Pyotr Nikolayevich Popov, a grandson of T.A.Karghin, about the appearance of the fence, its configuration, décor and the materials used) a project of reconstruction of the farmstead territory fencing was implemented by the institute “Spetsproektrestavratsiya” (Rostov-on-Don). The project author is architect M.A.Chestnov.

Despite the limited period of time the reconstruction work was carried out in full, on time and in accordance with the project. The following works were implemented: restoration of the brickwork with décor elements, of the forged metal fence sections, of the gates and wickets in accordance with the style of the early XX century, the period of the farmstead creation.

The cultural heritage site of regional importance “The Farmstead of T.A.Karghin” recovers its historic appearance.

The facility improvement works including road covering and lightning of the territory is scheduled for 2017.
