Sholokhov Museum Experience was Discussed at the Creative Laboratory

From 25 to 27 October, a creative laboratory “Museum–Tour Company: Partnership Technologies” was held in Petrozavodsk (The Republic of Karelia). It was joined by Valeriya Vladimirovna Sholokhova, Deputy Director for Development of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve.

V.V.Sholokhova gave a talk “Development of the Event and Schoolchildren’s Tourism in the Museum.Museum Interaction with Tour Operators”. The experience of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov in the field of development and promotion of museum tourism, creation of an innovative museum tour product based on the interactive excursions and applied master-classes, achievements in the event tourism development – those were the issues which aroused a deep interest and a lot of questions in the audience.

The laboratory was held within the frames of the charity program “Museums of Russian North” of the “Severstal” company under the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Karelian Republic, the Ministry of Industry and Business Development of the Murmansk Region, the Committee for Culture and Art of the Murmansk Region.
