Let Us Live in Cleanliness!

06.06.2016

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov within the project “Environmental Museum School” held a class “Let Us Live in Cleanliness” dedicated to the World Environmental Day for the children of kindergarten 2 “Romashka” on June 6.

The class was aimed at training the kindergarten children in separate waste collecting. Touring along the environmental path “Visiting Ekoznaika” the children noticed that at one of the lookout points, where it was always clean, debris was scattered. The children interrupted their tour and helped Ekoznaika to clean up.

During the class the children learned how unnecessary things can be used again and viewed the pictures showing sculptures made of plastic bottles, furniture, clothes and footwear made of industrial waste of different kinds. The young ecologists sorted different kinds of “waste” putting pictures of glass things into one bucket and those with paper items – into the other.

The funniest was the competition where the children were to place several aluminum juice cans in a small bucket, and they could not guess at once that the cans should be jammed first.

When in our stanitsa there will be grounds for separate waste collection we are sure that our children, members of the Environmental Museum School, will be the first eco-activists to support the matter.
