NewsMuseum Class over Steppe Expanses13.05.2016On May 13, the primary schoolchildren of Sholokhov Gymnasium of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya attended the final lesson of the Museum environmental school. The children travelled to the high chalky mound by the memorial sign “Eagle”, where from a magnificent scene of the native Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya is laid out. With sinking hearts the children read the words of A. Serafimovich about M.Sholokhov, which were engraved at the foot of the monument. They learned about the artist, the author of the sculpture. Then the children answered the questions of the quiz which helped to revise everything they had learned during the studies at the museum environmental school. The winners of the quiz were awarded discs “The Rostov Region Red List of Threatened Species”. The lesson of the young ecologists ended with a questionnaire. The children answered the questions about their further use of the knowledge they had got at the environmental school, about the environmental problems they see and assessed their knowledge in the history of their home country. The second stage in training primary schoolchildren at the Museum environmental school is over. The museum-workers wish for the children to have a good time with lots of interesting and informative games and entertainment during their holidays. Oksana Turchina |
