In Cooperation with School

13.04.2016

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov and “Evrika-Razvitiye” school named after M.V.Naghibin in Rostov-on-Don, during the 2015–2016 school year held a series of interactive classes for the fourth-form pupils on the program “Misha Sholokhov. A Journey Through Time and Distance”.

During the classes, the material for creation of the electronic database of the distance learning program was selected and structured, and on April 8, the pedagogical council of “Evrika-Razvitiye” school announced the results and determined the prospects for the project development.

The progress report was made by N.M.Steblina, a researcher of the Youth Program Department of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov, and S.V.Sokolova, a teacher of supplementary education of “Evrika-Razvitiye” school. The educators noted that the study in such complicated questions as the Cossacks origin, childhood of M.A.Sholokhov, nature and life in the Don region made them apply a variety of techniques, forms and methods of intensifying attention and maintaining interest for the material studied. Taking into consideration the pupils’ information and technological competence the most convenient form of the new material submission is a presentation including photo- and videomaterials, text support and game tasks. The most interesting for children are interactive tasks in the Internet, which are prepared by means of LearningApp.org web-service.

The teachers made a decision to continue the work on creation a distance learning program and noted that the study in the life and work of M.A.Sholokhov gives a broad opportunity for the interdisciplinary training fostering the development of a systemic thinking in pupils, their creative potential and research activity.
