NewsA New Collection Souvenir in the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov05.04.2016The tourists visiting the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov can join now the international project “Tourist’s Stamp” and buy 8 stamps at once to enrich their collection with the pictures of unique monuments of history and culture connected with the name of the great writer. “Keep Your Stamp! Broaden Your Horizons!”– this is a slogan of the project “Tourist’s Stamp” uniting the most active travellers collecting wooden medals with pokerwork pictures of interesting sights. For the first time such collection “Stamps” appeared in the Czech Republic in 1997, and now they are spread all over Europe. The project is joined by 15 countries, and the geography of “Tourist’s Stamp” goes on expanding. The feature of the stamps is their being numbered, and a stamp with a definite number can be bought only at the place shown on it. Enthusiastic collectors hunt for them not only as for interesting souvenirs, but also because they can get presents having collected ten successively numbered stamps. Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya, Stanitsa Karghinskaya, Kruzhilin Village, Estate of M.A.Sholokhov, Historical and Literary Exhibition “M.A.Sholokhov.The Time and Destiny”, sculptural compositions “Grigory and Aksinya”, “Eagle”, “To the Cossacks of the Quiet Don” and “Sholokhov Centre” of the Museum-Reserve in Rostov-on-Don have acquired their unique “Tourist’s Stamp”. The peculiarity of the stamps produced for sale in the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov unlike others of the Don country is that they bear on their reverse a picture of the old seal of the Don Army (Voisko Donskoye) with “a deer pierced by an arrow”. You can buy “Tourist’s Stamps” in the souvenir shops of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov, at the Estate of the writer, in the exhibition buildings in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya and in Rostov-on-Don. Join the project “Tourist’s Stamp”! Travel, collect stamps and learn new things about our country!
