Sholokhov Museum Joins “Intourmarket-2016”

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov took part in the XI International Tourist Exhibition “Intourmarket-2016”, which took place on March 19–22, in the international exhibition centre “Crocus Expo” in Moscow.

This year the main subject of the collective section of the Rostov Region was the 100th anniversary of A.V.Kalinin, a Don writer. The exhibition section was joined by the tour industry representatives of Rostov-on-Don, Azov, Aksai, the Semikarakorsky, Ust-Donetsk, Sholokhov and other districts of the region.

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov presented an Event Calendar of 2016, showed the visitors tourist programs and new master-classes. The guests of the section received a detailed information about Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya, the work of the Museum structures, transport and hotel infrastructures.

At the round table “Event Integration into the Tour Product” the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov made a presentation of the All-Russian literary and folklore festival “Sholokhov Spring” and a literary and ethnographic holiday “Steed is the Dearest for Cossack” (Don Cossack traditional fights of Vyoshenskaya).

Annual participation in the International exhibition “Intourmarket” makes for establishing business contacts with the representatives of the tour companies of different regions of Russia and increase the attractiveness of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov for tourists to visit the homeland of Mikhail Alexandrovich Sholokhov.
