She is Fascinated by the Magic of Sholokhov’s Attraction

03.03.2016

Sometimes analytical abilities of a person are manifested very early. For instance, investigations of the participants in the International research contest of the children and youth environment movement “Sholokhov Source” are often deep and interesting, and they are published in different books of collected papers.

One of the students of the Rostov school “Evrika-Razvitiye” (now gymnasium 118), Vlada Maslova, has been Director of the annual historical and literary educational practice “Vyoshki” for two years. She took her own way. She “published” a book “Magic Vyoshenskaya” on her own, where she presented some of her works submitted earlier for the contests and conferences both regional and capital.

For the first time Vlada visited the homeland of M.A.Sholokhov in 2011, and being taken by his work she took to the development of several subjects, which in the form of publications now make up the contents of the book: “The Don Nature on the Pages of Sholokhov’s “Tales of the Don”, “The Peculiarities of the Greeting and Farewell Formulas in Epistolary Literature”, “The Role of Address in “The Tales of the Don” by M.A.Sholokhov”, “Letters from the Front (the letters of the war years in the life and work of M.A.Sholokhov)”. In her works she tries to analyse the most important aspects from her point of view and in her own way to look at the essence of a particular perspective. The research methodological foundations including the work with the museum collection are laid down so that very interesting prospects of searches and finds are held in store for the young researcher.

In the preface Vlada Maslova notes: “I have written several works, but this is only a small chance to dive into the writer’s work and get to know his world! And I believe that Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya, its nature, atmosphere and the people will help me to get closer to the very special world of Sholokhov.”

We wish a great success to the young researcher!
