Museum Classes in Kalinin Children’s Home

On February 20, in Kalinin Children’s Home there were held classes, where the children learned more about the life and work of M.A.Sholokhov, his social activity and his contribution into the world culture development.

With great interest the boys and girls listened to the story about the life of the Sholokhovs family, their traditions and leisure.

In the talk about the contribution of M.A.Sholokhov into development of the world culture a particular attention was paid to the writer’s work for preservation and revival of the traditional Cossack culture. With enthusiasm the children listened to the story about the first and the only in our country theatre of Cossack Peasant Youth, which was established in the 30-s in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya on the initiative of Mikhail Alexandrovich, and about the writer’s meetings with the actors of the State Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Don Cossacks.
