“Ask Everywhere…”

18.02.2016

On March 1, the excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House” of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov opens an exhibition “Ask Everywhere…” (The history of the Russian State on sweet wrapper) presented by the Museum of History of Chocolate and Cocoa (“MISHKA”).

This exhibition had a successful run in Rostov-on-Don, in “Sholokhov Centre” of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.

The visitors will see centuries-old Russian history and learn about the world of confectionary business kings, who in all times give joy to children and grownups, about different kinds of chocolate production and about the amazing properties of chocolate.

The exhibition displays original sweet wrappers of the famous Russian confectionaries and chocolate producers. The visitors will learn about the wonderful history of chocolate from the origins of its appearance in the lands of ancient Maya in Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras up to our days, will discover a secret of “chocolate tree” and feel the magic power of cocoa flavour.

There is a “Chocolate Laboratory” for children, where the young visitors will act as confectioners and discover new recipes of sweet making.

You are welcome to the exhibition “Ask Everywhere…”which will run till June 1, 2016.

We thank Serghei, the author of an interesting on-the-spot commentary on the website “Otzovik” about the exhibition which had run in Rostov.
