Theatre Treasures in the Museum of M.A.Sholokhov

On June 7, 2019, in the Year of Theatre in Russia, Sholokhov-Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov will start showing an exhibition “Moscow Art Theatre is the XX Century.Theatre Treasures” from the Museum of the Moscow Art Academic Theatre.

During the days of the All-Russian literary folklore holiday “Sholokhov Spring-2019”, the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov was traditionally paid great attention by the tourists. On those days it was visited by more than 1500 admirers of the literary talent of the author of the immortal novel “And Quiet Flows the Don”. Among them there were guests from Moscow, Belgorod, Voronezh, Pyatigorsk, Rostov-on-Don, the Donetsk People’s Republic, China, Sardinia Island.
A Guest from Italy Visited “Sholokhov Spring”

On the day of “Sholokhov Spring” holiday, the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov was visited by Fabrizio Floris, a resident of Sardinia, Italy. The guest said that before visiting Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya he read again the novel “And Quiet Flows the Don” in English and was greatly impressed with it.

The holiday “Children Sholokhov Spring” in Stanitsa Karghinskaya, where the great writer spent his childhood and youth, and began his literary career, was joined by young performers, artists and handicraft masters from different parts of Russia. A literary artistic and journalistic meeting “Mikhail Sholokhov:”…talents will come!” took place in the Palace of Culture of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. It became one of the pages of the holiday “Sholokhov Spring-2019”. The program was dedicated to the Year of Theatre and to the work of M.A.Sholokhov staged in the theatre.

On May 25, 2019, meetings of local and professional writers took place at the literary folklore holiday “Sholokhov Spring”. They were held at the central library of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya and in the People’s House of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve.
