An exhibition “Sholokhov’s Personages in Cinema” runs in the Farmstead of T.A.Karghin of the Karghin Memorial Historical Complex. It is housed in the hall of the “Cinematograph “Ideal” built early in the XX century.

Coincidentally, in the passing Year of Russian Cinema we mark the 110th anniversary of Sergei Gerasimov, a film director, who in 1941, the 100th anniversary of M.Y.Lermontov, filmed his drama “Masquerade”; and holding an all-Russian campaign “Night of Arts” coincided with the run of the exhibition “I was Happy Here…”M.Y.Lermontov. Life and Work” in Sholokhov-Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.

The Children Museum Centre of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov began a cycle of classes “Preschool Children Learn about the Don Country”, where kindergarten children of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya acquire primary representation of the history and culture of the Upper Don Cossacks.
